Featuring a star cast this is the much anticipated sequel to Kidawa-Błoński’s multi-award winning Rose (2010). Magdalena Boczarska plays career politician Joanna Warczewska whose life is turned upside down following a terrorist attack which kills her husband. When a blackmail attempt increases her anxiety she decides to investigate her family history. A political and psychological thriller the drama follows her journey, raising questions about her personal identity as well as that of those around her. The rich, classically inspired score, by Bartosz Chajdecki adds resonance to the tense narrative co-scripted by Maciej Karpiński (also of Rose) which finally reveals some of the ambiguity surrounding her past.
