We invite everyone to donate whatever they can to support Ukrainians fighting for their freedom. A portion of proceeds from every item sold, screening, experience and haircut will go directly to this cause.

We’re shaking up Kinoteka with a dynamic series of special events at KX Coal Drops Yard.

Enjoy free screenings of award-winning films from Wajda School, a film school founded in 2002 in Warsaw by Andrzej Wajda and Wojciech Marczewski, where experienced filmmakers help young artists develop their own projects. Wajda School presents 17 films: short features and docs developed at Wajda School over the last 20 years. The titles were selected from among the most awarded and best received by festival audiences around the world. The School's achievements include almost 3,000 graduates who have made their mark on the history of Polish and world cinema, and hundreds of film projects that have made it to the big screen.

Also, experience an AI project dedicated to the iconic Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski, explore Ukrainian fashion, jewellery, and art. The highlight of the programme is ‘Food Wars: Pierogies vs Dumplings’, where restaurateurs from around London will debate the true origin of these beloved dishes while guests sample both. With a vibrant mix of culture, cuisine, and creativity, with occasional drag performances, every event offers a new experience.

Opening Night – 7 March

Polka Dot kicks off an almost month-long celebration of Polish and Ukrainian creativity with a night of music, dance, cinema, drag, and a joyful sing-along. Come and discover how the Slavs really throw a party. Plus join us for the UK premiere of STIMULANTS & EMPATHOGENS a comedy about love Eastern European style.
