Damian Kocur’s observational second feature, after his award winning BREAD AND SALT, goes to the emotional heart of those impacted by war. Life can change in an instant, due to circumstances beyond our control. This is a war story from outside the conflict zone. A Ukrainian blended family on holiday in Tenerife struggles to reconcile their new status as refugees, as a result of the Russian invasion, whilst still working on their own relationships. An exceptional performance (awarded at Gdynia Film Festival) from Sofiia Berezovska embodies that identity crisis as international politics impact teenage fun in the sun.
Contains distressing scenes of war
