At the initiative of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, the year 2026 was proclaimed the Year of Andrzej Wajda. This is a special moment to return to the master’s work, look at his films with fresh eyes, and undertake an intergenerational discussion about history, community, responsibility, and freedom.
